The Burnet Institute Centre for International Health (CIH) provides technical support, program management, assistance with public health policy development and traning related to communicable disease prevention and control in the broader context of community-based primary health care. The Burnet offers many educational and work opportunities in the field of global health. The Centre for International Child Health (CICH) operates within the University of Melbourne's Paediatric Deparment at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. It seeks to reduce global child mortality, contribute to achieving Millenium Development Goals, and developing strong child health systems through research and program implementation. The Nossal Institute for Global Health, University of Melbourne, is committed to improving global health through research, education, inclusive development practice, and training of future leaders. Monash University International Public Health Unit, works to develop research, education and capacity-building programs that improve health and well-being in relation to the origins, prevention and management of non-communicable diseases in low-, middle- and high-income countries.
