Advertise your jobs, volunteer opportunities, courses and more...

Organisations can use the Global Health Gateway to directly advertise jobs and volunteer opportunities, promote courses and training opportunities, and to discuss issues related to their interests and activities.  We make it really easy, and this is how.

Advertise a Job or Volunteer opportunity 

The Jobs Forum is the place for sharing work and volunteering opportunities related to global health and development.   We encourage organisations of all sizes to advertise global health related jobs and volunteer opportunities here. It is very easy, and only requires registration (free) to receive a username and password.  Here is the step-by-step guide.

1. Go to www.globalhealthgateway.org.au, and Login (or sign up if you haven't already got a U/N and P/W)
2. Click on the Forum tab (via the top menu)
3. Click on the 'Jobs Forum' [or 'Education Forum'], then select '+ New Topic', and post the details.  
   [TIP: type something before copying and pasting information or the forum may think it is spam]
4. You can return to edit them at a later date, and will receive email updates when others users reply.
   [TIP: you can also return and add extra details, or reply to other posts] 

NB: The Calendar is also a good place to share information about information sessions, open days, and even application due dates (see below).

Advertise a Course or Training opportunity

The Education Forum is for the sharing of education and training opportunities related to global health and development.  We encourage organisations of all sizes to advertise here.  It is very easy, just follow the same instructions as for the Jobs Forum (see above).

The Calendar is a great place to share information about short courses, and can also be used to promote information sessions, open days, and even application due dates.  It is very easy, and only requires registration (free) to receive a username and password.  Here is the step-by-step guide.

1. Go to www.globalhealthgateway.org.au, and Login (or sign up if you haven't already got a U/N and P/W)
2. Click on the Calendar tab (via the top menu)
3. If you move your mouse over the calendar you will see a "+" button appear on the day your cursor is hovering over.
   [TIP: you can also scroll below the Calendar and when you are logged in some extra options will appear - "Add Event", "see my events" etc.]
4. Click on "Add Event" or click on the "+" sign and follow the instructions. 
   [TIP: type something before copying and pasting information or the calendar may think it is spam] 
5. The event will appear in the calendar after being reviewed by a moderator, and you can return to edit them at a later date.

Discuss issues and current events

Many organisations have information, positions statements and press releases that are of interest to Global Health Gateway users.  Feel free to post the on the pleasantly titled Lounge forum.  We also occassionally accept short articles on particular topics from organisations, for more information on this email us (content@globalhealthgateway.org.au).
