Some easy ways to make a big difference...

The Global Health Gateway is a non-profit initiative that depends on the support of organisations and individuals.  If you, or your organisation, would like to support the Global Health Gateway project, here are a few easy ways to make a big difference.

1. Use the website.  Perhaps your biggest contribution is to share your knowledge and experience with others!  Share events on the Calendar (read more).  Advertise jobs (read more).  Join conversation on the Forum.
   
   
2. Share the website.  Tell your colleagues and students (contact us for flyers).  Find us on Facebook - and invite your friends.  Share us through your Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, or other social media platform.
   
   
3. Submit an article.  Photos, news, promo pieces, personal stories, opinion pieces, loads more (read more).  A great way to tell of your latest projects and news!
   
   
4. Volunteer with us. The Global Health Gateway currently has the following volunteer opportunities on offer.  These are open to anybody with the requisite skills, no matter your location, profession, age or appearance - so please feel free to apply!  If you don't find anything that fits you here, contact us for more opportunities.  All interest and enquiries can be directed to our recruitment team (volunteer@globalhealthgateway.org.au):
   
   1.    Web administration - Managing website usage tracking, domain name registration, hosting packages, submission of urls to search engines.
   2.    Web coding - needs HTML/CSS to programming skills, and would include managing "troubleshooting" requests from around the website.
   3.    Health Professional Representatives - Pharmacists, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Doctors, Dentists, Optometrists and others to join the Global Health Gateway Community Engagement team as a Global Health Gateway Liaison person for your field
   5.    Photographers- for events, and other photo editing work
   6.    Graphic Designers- to join our fledgling graphic design team
   7.    Multimedia designer/ Filmmakers/ Videographers- to create promotional and educational material for the Global Health Gateway
   
   
5. Financial support.  We run a tight budget and the vast majority of our work is done by unpaid volunteers.  Help us expand our reach by donating to the account below.
